Heat is bad for your battery and using a battery simply releases heat. The EGO battery is therefore equipped with an innovative cooling system. Not only the arched design but also the Keep Cool Technology^tm with which each individual cell in battery is surrounded, ensure maximum cooling of the battery. Moreover, because you attach the battery to the outside of the machine, it can lose its heat well to the cooler outside air. The outside of the EGO battery has a robust housing with ventilation openings the special resin coating on the inside of the housing absorbs shocks and vibrations and protects the battery from moisture and dust.

Together with the intelligent energy management in the battery, EGO has thus developed a battery that can deliver optimum power, and performance, and stands for a longer service life. Not for nothing does EGO give up to 3 years warranty on their batteries.

Quick charge function
Not only is the battery well thought out, recharging the battery is also easy. In fact, the batteries are recharged just as quickly as they are drained. By alternating two batteries, you can actually work a whole day. With the various ampere options, you as a user determine which weight is most comfortable for you to work with.

The connection of the EGO handheld battery to the machine has always been the same. Whether you choose a 2.5 Ah battery or a 12 Ah battery and whether you choose a riding mower or hedge trimmer. Everything fits together perfectly. So you can expand your machines and batteries as desired without having to invest extra in adapters to make the connection fit. In recent years, EGO has also joined forces with other garden machinery manufacturers such as Tielbürger (sweepers), Eliet (shredders) and Vari (weed brushes), so nowadays the EGO motor and battery can also be found on machines from these manufacturers. And again, all batteries are interchangeable with each other and with the EGO machines.
