NL Greenlabel

NL Greenlabel stands for a measurably sustainable living environment. The organization has instruments to provide independent insight into the value of an area or product for people and nature. Various sustainability passports provide at-a-glance insight into the score of (1) plants, (2) products and materials, (3) grounds, (4) gardens and (5) areas.

When developing outdoor space, ambitious sustainability goals are often set. Thanks to advice and labeling, NL Greenlabel helps to realize and secure these goals during the process. In this way, ambitions in the areas of biodiversity, climate resistance and health are removed from the sphere of non-commitment and a demonstrably healthy and sustainable living and working environment is achieved.

NL Greenlabel was founded in 2011 by green visionary and garden and landscape designer Nico Wissing and TV presenter Lodewijk Hoekstra and based in Megchelen Gld. Thanks to the Scientific Advisory Board and an extensive partner network, insights are constantly being tested and improved.
