Smart garden and pool lighting

Seamaid this year introduced a completely new "smart" lighting concept for both the pool and the rest of the garden. The entire system can be controlled via an easy-to-use app. "The combination of pool and garden lighting makes this a unique concept.

"The app works simply and is very effective," says general manager Gil Galle of CF group Benelux, importer of Seamaid's lighting solutions. "All the user needs is a WiFi connection." The range consists of many different types, finishes and sizes. Even lighting for surface-mounted pools has been considered, and there are solar variants. 

Seamaid was created in 2006 by the French company Alphadif, specialists in LED lighting. The brand offers lighting solutions that are both easy to install and operate. In addition, they are also much more energy efficient than the old incandescent or halogen lamps and competitively priced. All products are manufactured in France at its own production site.

The new range of LED pool and garden lights developed by Seamaid is powered by 24V extra-low voltage, increasing safety. With the app, all fixtures can be controlled individually. It allows the user to turn the lights on or off directly, enter time slots and choose colors. Other users can also be added, which also allows them to control the system. In addition, the app provides real-time information on energy consumption so that this can be controlled. The pool fixtures are finished in black, providing a stylish look. Models for both new pools and renovation projects are available.

Galle: "What makes this system unique is that in addition to pool lighting, the line also offers many different lighting solutions for the rest of the garden. For both lighting the patio, flower beds, paths and driveways. The system can be expanded at any time, without having to bury cables." The high power LED lights come in different models, from ground spots to recessed models, both round and rectangular. Through the so-called wireless IZZYBOX, the user can control the system with the app.
