7 nominations for innovation award Golden Clover Four at GTH2024

Winning innovation announced on Sept. 11, the first exhibition day of GroenTechniek Holland

"Electric, sustainable and mechanical solutions to current problems, these are the trends in the innovations," said the professional jury that nominated seven innovations for innovation prize Gouden Klavertje Vier that will be awarded at GroenTechniek Holland. At the sixth edition of the Netherlands' largest, biannual green trade fair, manufacturers, importers and dealers launch firsts for green professionals. The professional jury judged to what extent the innovations are innovative and distinctive. This yielded seven nominations, the most outstanding of which wins the Golden Clover Four on first day of the fair Wednesday, Sept. 11.

"The nominated innovations are very diverse in nature and often offer solutions to current problems, making them interesting for professionals working in public outdoor space for a variety of reasons. The broad palette of innovations shows just how extensive the working area of the green professional is," said the jury members Gert Vreemann (CUMELA/Grondig), Gertjan Zevenbergen (AgriMedia/Tuin en Parktechniek), Hein van Iersel (NWST/Stad&Groen/Boom in Business/Boomzorg/Fieldmanager), Johan Simmelink (Tuin & Landschap) and Thijs Magielse (VHG Association for Gardeners and Greenkeepers).

7 NOMINATIONS FOR INNOVATION AWARD GOLDEN CLOVER FOUR

Husqvarna - Transport box and loader in one (booth 2.01)

Multi-rack battery charger to easily transport, carry and charge 4 batteries efficiently and safely in a short time in all weather conditions. Stackable, connectable to car charging pole and user-friendly thanks to sturdy, practical handles.

Makita Netherlands - Electric hoe (booth W01)

Electric hoe for efficient and ergonomic weeding and soil conversion, thanks to real hoe movement that goes quite deep and loosens weeds with root and all on the black earth, with minimal vibrations that ensure comfort during prolonged use.

C. van der Pols en Zn BV - Ransomes Aurøra EliTE (booth 1.05)

Fully electric rotary mower with solidly constructed cutting deck and separately driven blades by 3 separate electric motors ensuring high productivity. With limited slip differential that automatically clutches wheels under difficult conditions, maintenance-free parking brake and transport speed of 25 km/h.

Ramm Equipment - Ramm3000 (booth 214)

Kills weeds with electricity supplied by battery pack and is silent, fast, hand operated, easily portable and very low in energy consumption. Smart combination of Volts, Amps, Resistance and frequency/Hz is so adjustable that with any type of soil, moisture and weed type, the right power can be put on the lance that kills weeds.

Stierman de Leeuw - Ego LBX1000 leaf blower (booth V01)

Professional leaf blower powered by (evt back carried) battery with blowing power of 32 Newton and ability to move 1700 m3/h of air, without emissions, excessive noise and vibration. With efficient brushless motor, locking switch for extra safety and thanks to ergonomic design good balance and ease of use.

Vector Machines BV - Autonomous implement carrier (stand 2.25)

Autonomous tool carrier equipped with advanced sensors and mapping technology that can mow on solar farms even under solar panels when there is no GPS range or connection, keeping areas around solar panels free of obstacles. Result is increased exposure to sunlight, thus improved energy production, cost savings, environmental conservation and biodiversity preservation.

Wim van Breda - MowHawk (booth 3.02)

Improves biodiversity in public spaces because a smart camera system on the arm of a roadside mower provides insight into biodiversity, circular processing of roadside clippings and the overall mowing process. Using AI, different types of fauna can be classified per m2 on the basis of color recognition, which contributes to an accurate insight into the nector index in the outdoor space.
