PAVILIONS ON MANURE INNOVATIONS, AUTONOMOUS AGROTECHNOLOGY AND CLEAN AND ZERO-EMISSION CONSTRUCTION AT ATH AND GTH 2024
In addition to more than 5,000 new tractors, machines and tools, the AgroTechniek Holland (ATH) and GroenTechniek Holland (GTH) trade fairs offer innovative solutions to current issues in the agricultural and green sector in pavilions.
Exhibition manager Willem Bierema: "For example, there is a Manure Pavilion with a wide range of innovations that offer solutions to produce valuable fertilizers from slurry. Pavilion Autonomous Agrotechnology shows all robotization solutions and latest autonomous techniques for further optimization of cultivation/crop and soil. In Pavilion Clean and Emission Free Building (SEB), visitors will get an insight into the machines, techniques and preconditions that will be mandatory in all phases of the SEB covenant with which the Netherlands is on its way to clean and emission free building. Furthermore, visitors can test so-called All Terrain Vehicles from exhibitors themselves on the ATV Test Track and the Fedecom Vacancy Database offers an overview of vacancies in the agro and green sector to interested trade visitors of ATH and GTH."
ATH and GTH will take place simultaneously and side by side from Wednesday, September 11 to Saturday, September 14 in Biddinghuizen. With one ticket, visitors can visit both trade fairs including all pavilions, as well as ride and test the machines on the demonstration grounds.
With a nod to The Hague's Panorama Mesdag with its 360-degree painted view, ATH will feature a Panorama Mestdag Pavilion that offers a view of the many innovations that offer solutions to produce valuable fertilizers from slurry and slurry components, which can be used for crop-specific fertilization. These innovations offer arable and horticulture fertilizer products with relatively low CO2 footprint. But other innovations such as the nitrogen cracker, a cow toilet and ammonia filter are not prospects, but relatively unknown solutions that are already available today. The pavilion thus offers every visitor 'fertilizer for thought'.
Drawing from experience in the current field, the Autonomous AgroTechnology Pavilion shows that the future is now, with robotization solutions that are a serious - and often more sustainable - addition to the current machinery and business model of farmers. The Netherlands is a frontrunner in the field of robotization in the agricultural sector and is reaping success both at home and abroad. After a start in dairy farming and horticultural technology, these applications are also rapidly increasing in arable farming and outdoor cultivation to meet sustainability challenges such as reducing soil compaction, optimizing water quality, saving labor and making precise decisions down to plant level. A pavilion with self-propelled implement carriers, new techniques such as automated drip irrigation, self-controlled mechanical and/or electric weed control, drone applications for seeding to complement the current machinery and business model of farmers. The pavilion shows the way to a field with more autonomous technology and robotization.
Through the SEB covenant, the Netherlands is on its way to clean and emission-free construction. This is in the interest of nature, the climate and our health. In order to achieve this, emissions from construction equipment such as mobile work equipment, vehicles and vessels must be reduced, contributing to the progress of construction projects now and in the future. The rollout of SEB is divided into the four phases 2024, 2025, 2028 and 2030, different emission requirements apply for each power category of mobile equipment for these phases. In this pavilion, visitors will take a time travel along the four different phases of the covenant and for each phase, machines/technologies are shown that will then become mandatory. Preconditions such as charging points, safety and maintenance are also discussed, along with matters such as capacity, purchase price, unit costs, availability and subsidy options for customers. The green sector is not yet part of this covenant, but will probably be in the near future.
At an outdoor trade show, there is literally room to test machines for yourself. Again this year, suppliers of ATVs are making their machines available so that visitors can test them for themselves on a course.
The agro and green sector offers a healthy working environment, yet many exhibitors are looking for good staff. That is why at ATH and GTH they are given the opportunity to post their vacancies in the Fedecom Vacancy Database, bringing them to the attention of thousands of interested trade visitors.
Furthermore, the innovation awards Bronzen Sikkel at ATH and Gouden Klavertje Vier at GTH will be awarded to the most striking innovations shown at the fair according to the professional jury of (chief) editors of important trade media. There will also be an expert meeting on sustainability by LTO, a Day of the workshop manager by Aeres & VMR, a Hovenierscafé in cooperation with VHG and breakfast sessions for contract workers by CUMELA. Visitors can get to work on innovative manure techniques by 'Fertilize at its best' and tire pressure & alignment by VACO. There will also be a meeting of the Working Group on Package Measures by Foundation for Quality Requirements in Agricultural Technology SKL and daily seminars by Aeres and meetings of various Fedecom divisions.
The Fedecom exhibitions AgroTechniek Holland and GroenTechniek Holland will be organized simultaneously for the second time, retaining their own identity and exhibition concept and free-flowing between the two trade shows. The trade fair will be open daily from Wednesday, September 11 to Saturday, September 14, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The organization is in the hands of fair organization Fedecom Fairs, 100% owned by Fedecom. All information about participants, brands, innovations, tickets and the floor plan can be found at www.fedecomfairs.nl.
