A growing number of people are aware of the fate of our planet and us as its inhabitants. It is of course important that the foundation and/or the subsoil are also permeable to water'.

Greening

Of course, in addition to technical aspects, including shear strength and weather resistance of the overlays, sustainability characteristics also play a role in the choice of the tenderer or contractor. In the development of the semi-paving by HanseGrand, precisely these were taken into account. Indeed, the first overlays were developed some 30 years ago to "invent" a sustainable and environmentally friendly use for waste from German quarries. By selecting the right sieve fractions and combining them with other raw materials, the first HanseGrand coatings were created. How sustainable do you want it to be?

Applications

Apart from paths and (parking) areas at and around sports fields, semi-paving is increasingly used at golf courses, playgrounds and campsites. The paths laid by Maccrox are wheelchair- and walker-friendly, hardly scatter and no weeds grow through them. They have a very natural look and are easy to apply and maintain. Excellent semi-paved solutions can also be provided around and between trees. The previously mentioned air and water permeability ensures that roots do not want to grow through the semi-paved surface. A phenomenon that you naturally see after a number of years with asphalted paths and roads in parks and forests.
