The first contours for the completely fully booked anniversary edition of De Groene Sector Vakbeurs on January 7, 8 and 9, 2025 in Evenementenhal Hardenberg are known. For example, the program consists of various symposia and meetings, with this edition also giving extra attention to horticulturists from the West Netherlands with specific sessions. 'With this special anniversary edition of 25 years of De Groene Sector Vakbeurs, a feast of knowledge, inspiration and connection will be created, looking ahead together to a green future,' says Lucas van't Hof on behalf of the fair organization.
The program of De Groene Sector Vakbeurs will kick off on Tuesday, January 7, prior to the first day of the fair, with a festive New Year's Meeting of VHG. During this meeting there will be a session on generation management for leaders, managers and teams who have the guts to lead the way.
The second day of the fair, Wednesday, Jan. 8, is dedicated to "Grip Your Business," in cooperation with trade journal De Hovenier. This part of the knowledge program offers visitors the chance to deepen their knowledge and discuss current issues and challenges within the sector. The talks and workshops offer refreshing insights and practical tools for daily practice, including all the ins and outs on changing regulations.
On the last day of the fair (Thursday, Jan. 9), the pre-fair knowledge program is devoted to a panel discussion with fascinating round table discussions. Several experts will join the table and share their views on sustainable garden and park design, biodiversity and ecology, greening in urban areas and the future of the industry.
Visitors can look forward to many different activities on the exhibition floor from 1 to 9 p.m. The Tunnel of the Future offers the opportunity to vote for the Innovation Award, while the Garden of the Future, built by intermediate vocational students, shows what is possible with sustainable designs. In addition, the National Horticulture Competition will take place during all exhibition days, and the award for Most Sustainable Horticulturist will be presented to the person who has made a special commitment to sustainability in the industry.
This anniversary edition traditionally offers the opportunity to network with industry experts and potential partners, with a focus on approachability and hospitality. The Starters Pavilion showcases fresh initiatives within the industry, while exhibitors pull out all the stops with fun challenges and attractive trade show promotions.
The Groene Sector Vakbeurs can be visited on Tuesday 7, Wednesday 8 and Thursday 9 January 2025 from 13.00 to 21.00 in Evenementenhal Hardenberg. For more info: www.groenesector.nl.
