Their product portfolio includes plastic grass and gravel sheets, drainage membranes, products for green roofs, weed cloths and non-woven geotextiles. In the area of drainage membranes, they have become the industry specialist, with particularly effective and reliable solutions for both horizontal and vertical drainage.
MatGeco drainage membranes are applied in the most diverse situations. The drainage of terraces, underground walls, foundations, under pavements, on flat roofs or in basements...: MatGeco has a solution for every application. When it is not immediately clear which membrane to choose, MatGeco is happy to make a clarifying study for your specific case.
This is a thin (6 millimeters) and flexible drainage geocomposite with double structure. It consists of an HD-PE membrane with three-dimensional structure and large pore volume, covered on both sides with a non-woven geotextile.
This drainage geocomposite has a resistance of 45 t/m², making it perfect for horizontal drainage under strong pressure. It is also applied for vertical drainage, ventilation and protection of foundations, walls, tunnels,...
Its double structure with high drainage capacity allows ventilation of the foundation, and protection at backfill. All while avoiding hydrostatic overpressure.
This geocomposite membrane features a double drainage structure, consisting of a PP membrane with three-dimensional structure and many empty spaces. The membrane is covered along one side with a non-woven geotextile.
This composite is perfect for both horizontal and vertical drainage. DubbleDrain 8.1 is often used for horizontal drainage on waterproof concrete, to drain water infiltrating through clinkers or cobblestones. Or as horizontal drainage under foundation slabs, to reduce hydrostatic pressure. It is also used as vertical drainage against waterproof concrete to contain these pressures.
This HD-PE drainage membrane consists of 10-millimeter-thick studs covered with a non-woven geotextile on one side. The isoline G10 can be used vertically as well as for horizontal applications such as roof gardens, terraces, parking lots, and so on. It is also used under clinkers and tiles on new or existing concrete slabs and can be placed between an existing concrete slab and the new slab to be placed on top.
This is a high-performance drainage mat for the horizontal and vertical drainage of foundations, and for the protection of substructures, underground structures and urban development works. The isoline 20 is an alveolar drainage mat in HD-PE, which is placed with the studs down on the foundation platform, before pouring a concrete slab on top. The water thus brought to the surface by hydrostatic pressure is collected and carried away by the structure of the draining membrane.
Because the applications of MatGeco drainage membranes sometimes overlap, it is recommended to contact the technical service in advance, in order to find the most suitable solution. In a next edition of this magazine, drainage solutions for green roofs will be discussed in detail.
