From January 7 to 9, 2024, the Evenementenhal in Hardenberg will again be the stage for De Groene Sector Vakbeurs. One of the notable participants this year is Bobcat, which is using its presence to showcase the versatility of its garden and park machinery.
Bobcat, originally an American brand, has been a household name in the machinery world for decades. What once began with skid-steer loaders and later compact excavators, has grown into a global brand with a wide range of machines. Bobcat's largest production facility is in the Czech Republic, but thousands of machines are also produced each year in France, Switzerland and the United States.
Bobcat is known for its strength, reliability and user-friendly designs, where comfort and ergonomics are paramount. That feline character the name Bobcat refers to is reflected in the power and ferocity of the machines.
Erik Pelle is a representative of Inter-Techno, the Dutch importer of Bobcat. He emphasizes the brand's versatility: "It is not only a brand with strong skid-steer loaders, excavators and telehandlers. Bobcat nowadays also offers a complete package for the garden and park sector."
At De Groene Sector Vakbeurs, Bobcat will of course also be present. The brand wants to put its full range of garden machinery in the spotlight, with a focus on the demanding private individual as well as the professional landscaper. "We want to show the full breadth of our range. The emphasis is on mowers, tractors and excavators." Bobcat has made a selection of machines especially for this show that match the trends and needs in the market.
One of the eye-catchers at the show is the electric excavator. Electric machines are quiet, emission-free and perfect for use in urban environments, where sustainability and regulations play an increasing role. "The price is still a challenge," Pelle admits, "but thanks to Bobcat we can bring it down, making electric machines more attractive to landscapers and contractors."
In addition to electric models, Bobcat is also showing a selection of diesel-powered compact excavators. These smaller machines are ideal for landscapers who need flexibility in tight spaces.
For Bobcat, the show is more than just a showcase. It is also an opportunity to connect directly with dealers and seek new collaborations. "We want to show that in addition to their crane, gardeners can also come to us for mowers and tractors," says Pelle. The focus is on generating leads and strengthening brand awareness within the green space.
The Groene Sector Vakbeurs is the place to get inspired and meet the latest innovations in the industry. Bobcat invites landscapers and green professionals to experience for themselves the power, precision and versatility of the machines. Whether you are a discerning individual, contractor or professional landscaper, a visit to the Bobcat booth is well worth your time.
