Wimmersson appoints NaturaVolt as eWeeding partner in UK and Ireland

On Tuesday, December 10, we will name NaturaVolt as our eWeeding partner for the United Kingdom and Ireland at the official launch of the eWeeding Roller "powered by Zasso" as Tuesday, December 10 in Ruddington, Nottingham in the United Kingdom.

This breakthrough solution for weed management was developed by Zasso and launched in the Benelux by Wimmersson earlier this year. The eWeeding® Roller offers a unique combination of efficiency, safety, durability and ease of use.

Traditional methods of weed management in public areas often have no systemic effect, require multiple treatments or have a high environmental impact. The eWeeding® Roller is the first effective method without these limitations, making it ideal for controlling weeds on hard and soft surfaces such as sidewalks, roads, paths, parking lots, cemeteries and pedestrian areas.

The eWeeding® Roller uses electricity to heat all plant cells, causing the weeds, including the roots, to die. Electrodes on the underside of the roller transmit a controlled, closed electric current through the stem and roots of the weeds. This systemic action requires fewer treatments per year compared to current techniques.

Importantly, the solution is also environmentally friendly. The eWeeding® Roller has no CO2 emissions, leaves no residues in the environment and preserves soil biodiversity. It is the first climate-neutral method for weed management. In addition, the eWeeding® Roller does not affect underground cables, surrounding infrastructure or third-party property.
