Regular aerating and scarifying is essential to keep a lawn beautiful and therefore in good condition. Sometimes, unfortunately, it is already too late and (partial) renovation will be required. Scarifying and overseeding machine

To maintain a healthy lawn, it is advisable to scarify in both spring and fall. A scarifier removes thatch, moss and old grass from the lawn, allowing the grass to breathe and grow again. Gardeners and employees within the landscaping industry swear by the heavy duty PR551V. "You can easily convert this into an overseeder, making the machine multifunctional. That provides a lot of convenience and saves on purchase costs." 

Aerator

"Aeration allows oxygen to reach the grass roots so they can develop better. Another benefit is better drainage of the lawn. Especially now that we have more frequent dry summers, this is important. Because when a rain finally falls, you don't want the water to run off the lawn, you want the grass to be able to absorb that water. And in a wet season, aeration allows the water to drain properly. The recommendation is to aerate every four to six weeks from spring through fall." From the Billy Goat brand, Lankhaar Techniek offers three types of rotor aerators and four types of crank aerators. Instead of weights, the rotor aerators have a water tank that can be continuously adjusted to the correct weight. This tank sits directly above the rotor pins which ensures nice and straight holes. In addition to the two motorized rotor aerators, Lankhaar also offers the AET 60 aerator. This can be towed or attached to a tractor's three-point hitch.

Sod cutters
