This makes the machine not only more compact and lighter, but also ideal for smaller sports complexes with natural grass where the excess capacity of the larger models is not needed. "With a robotic mower like the BM-850, CO2 emissions and energy costs can be reduced up to ten times compared to traditional gasoline-powered mowers," Brenninkmeijer said. In addition, the mulching system provides nutrients to the soil, reducing the need for fertilizer.

The robot can be easily controlled via a user-friendly configuration panel and an intuitive app, which allows remote setting changes. Safety is another priority in the design of the BM-850, with features such as collision detection, lifting protection and an integrated emergency stop button.

The BM-850 autonomously drives back to its docking station to recharge and resumes its mowing pattern without intervention.
