The HTA 150 has a short, very light handle with a hollow shaft and is equipped with an ergonomic bow handle. In combination with the forestry harness STIHL ADVANCE X-TREEm HT, it allows very precise guidance of the 196 centimeter long, powerful high pruner. Efficiently maintain young or mixed plantings, remove unwanted regrowth, you do it from a standing position to work comfortably and less tiring. The saw assembly, consisting of the 30-centimeter-long STIHL Rollomatic E Mini guide bar and the STIHL 3/8″ Picco Micro Mini 3 (PM3) saw chain, delivers precise positioning and a clean cut. This chainsaw for tree care gets its energy from a 36 V lithium-ion battery from the STIHL AP system, which was designed especially for professional users. Here, the AP 300 S is the best choice. This gives the machine enough energy to work for up to 70 minutes on a single battery charge. You place the battery in the battery shaft in the housing and thus it guarantees an excellent balance on top of the energy supply. In addition to the forestry version, the STIHL HTA 150 is also available as a universal high pruner for tree care.

The chainsaw for tree care HTA 150 is STIHL's first cordless high pruner developed specifically for forest care. It has a lightweight handle with a hollow shaft and a powerful EC motor for making precise cuts. In combination with the lightweight magnesium drive, this motor impresses with its high torque and low-vibration operation. An easy-to-clean air filter with metal mesh ensures motor cooling and thus a long service life with consistently high power.

The robust chainsaw for tree care is equipped with the STIHL Rollomatic E Mini bar with a length of 30 cm and the STIHL 3/8″ Picco Micro Mini 3 (PM3) saw chain. This saw set not only guarantees high cutting performance, but also plays it up to precisely and efficiently cut even thicker branches up to 20 cm in diameter. The lateral chain tensioning makes re-tensioning the saw chain easy and the lateral ejection of the chips reduces the risk of clogging. In addition, the user always has the filling level of the semi-transparent chain oil tank in sight.

The forestry version of the HTA 150 features an ergonomic bow handle. In combination with the forestry harness STIHL ADVANCE X-TREEm HT, available as an accessory, it ensures precise and effortless guidance of the 196 cm long chainsaw and facilitates maneuvering between cuts. Even removing unwanted regrowth is done comfortably from a standing position. This reduces the strain on the user's muscles and joints. The gauge strip on the sprocket cover also makes it easier to accurately position the cutting attachment. Furthermore, with the easy-to-mount branch hook, you can easily remove loose pruning debris from the tree. When you set the machine down, the support protects the housing from contact with the ground.

In addition to the forestry version, the STIHL HTA 150 is also available as a universal high pruner for tree care. In this version, the machine comes standard with the small saw chain STIHL 1/4″ Picco Micro 3 (PM3) for a clean cut.

The center of gravity of the battery lies in the shaft of the handle, therefore the machine is perfectly balanced.

Professionals need to be sure that the batteries for their machines are fully charged when they start work and that they are ready for use throughout the day. STIHL offers various solutions for this: from single and multiple chargers to a charging cabinet and a powerful power station for use in places without access to a power supply. In addition, integration solutions for mobile charging in the vehicle are available, which vehicle designer bott developed in cooperation with STIHL. This allows companies to tailor the charging infrastructure individually to their needs - from the workshop to the point of use - and thus use their battery-powered machines efficiently and economically.

The STIHL HTA 150 cordless tree care chainsaw is already prepared for the STIHL Smart Connector 2 A. It can thus be very easily integrated into the cloud-based system solution STIHL connected. This digital fleet management provides professional users with, among other things, a detailed overview of all relevant machine data such as running time and age, information about future servicing and maintenance history.
