Electric wheelbarrow Zallys Dumper - jet E

An electric wheelbarrow that can load two and a half times more than a classic model, is super maneuverable and fits through any doorway. Arthur Verwoerd: "When using the Zallys Dumper - jet E battery-powered wheelbarrow, all that is needed is steering, the rest is automatic."

Arthur Verwoerd, director and owner of his eponymous company in Reeuwijk: "We have been selling electrically powered wheelbarrows made in Italy since 2004. The Dumper - jet E is equipped with a 180-liter bin, carries up to 500 kilograms and drives easily forward and backward; as if you were walking behind a baby carriage. With a width of 78 cm, it fits through any doorway and fully loaded you can even drive it onto a trailer. The speed is infinitely adjustable, and both forwards and backwards is fine to dose."

The two semi-traction batteries are connected to each other and provide an output of 1,000 watts. "To support landscapers in their paving work, we have devised our own bucket-changing system to replace, within two minutes, the bucket with a platform special
for stones."

Today, according to Reeuwijk, everyone is convinced of the usefulness of batteries. "Now we rather get the question; how long can you drive with them? Up to ten hours. For most gardeners, it's on the battery charger every two days and besides, batteries are recyclable. They last an average of seven years and the investment in a new battery set is low. So the machine is very cost-effective, especially when you see that some landscapers have been using their Zallys Dumper - Jet E for 12 years."
