EGO Power+, the specialist in cordless garden machines, is launching a new range of professional products in 2024 under the name Pro X. This innovative series offers maximum performance, flexibility and durability for the toughest jobs in the green sector. 

Philippe Schoenmaeckers, account manager Belgium at importer and wholesaler Stierman De Leeuw: "The Pro X gardening machines are developed with powerful engines and strong, durable materials, such as carbon-fiber, solid steel drive shafts, robust gearboxes and aluminum cutting decks. They outperform their fuel equivalents in running time and comfort, without noise, emissions and vibration. But they also match their fuel variants in terms of power. The Pro X range includes a walk-behind mower, a chainsaw, a grass trimmer, a brushcutter, a hedge trimmer, a leaf blower, a telescopic pruning system and an advanced charging system. All machines are interchangeable with all EGO batteries, allowing the user to choose the optimal efficiency for any job." 

The patented 56V ARC Lithium™ batteries are specially designed to deliver top performance. They surpass all other portable batteries on the market with the highest energy capacity, longer life and lightning-fast charging time.

"EGO, in fact, is one of the few to work with a 56 V battery system," Philippe explains. "When you do volts x amps, that's the number of watt-hours, or the amount of energy for a specific period of time. The voltage of a battery determines how much power a battery can provide at one specific time. Here, the higher the voltage of the tool, the more powerful the machine. Note, the higher the voltage and amperage, the heavier the battery also becomes. This is the beauty of EGO because they have portable batteries ranging from 2.5 Ah to 12 Ah with the 2.5 being the lightest and the 12 being the heaviest. So because all the batteries fit all the machines you can tailor this completely to the user. They can be used with the full range of garden machines, ensuring the professional maximum power and efficiency for every garden job."

The batteries combine the ARC-shaped design with KeepCool™ technology to keep the cells cool, prevent overheating and failure. Thanks to the advanced power management system, these batteries work seamlessly with all garden equipment, resulting in unmatched power, performance and uptime. 

Philippe: "An important addition to the Pro X series is the revolutionary battery charging system, which includes a portable and super-fast Power Bank and a charger: Power Hub(PGX 1600W). With a single charger (and therefore one plug) you can charge up to 70 batteries overnight. The Power Hub can also be used to charge the Power Bank - with the 40 Ah highcapacity battery. So that there is always enough energy available to work through an entire day."

In addition, EGO has developed a new Connect app, which connects to the Pro X machines and battery charging system via Bluetooth and WiFi. This app allows the user to remotely manage, monitor and optimize the machine fleet, including the charging process, operation, maintenance and firmware updates.
