GTM Professional introduces dumper with interchangeable track undercarriage

This spring, GTM Professional is marketing a unique dumper with hydraulic tipping system. This is because the new GTRD500 is interchangeable with the machine manufacturer's track-driven wood chippers. This makes it possible to convert a 1300R or 1800R into a dumper and vice versa. The GTRD500 has a payload of 500 kg and is available with Loncin or Honda engines. The complete dumper is available from €4,495 including VAT through GTM Professional's extensive dealer network.

The multi-purpose GTRD500 is designed for arborists and landscapers to move wood chips, logs, pavers or other heavy material around the jobsite. The tracked chassis is similar to GTM Professional's 1300R and 1800R wood chippers. That means this self-propelled machine is moved at a maximum speed of 4.5 km/h, with 3 forward and 1 reverse gears. The 18 cm wide tracks are ideal for swampy or rough terrain.

Already own a GTM wood chipper on tracks and want to build it into a dumper? You can do so with a special €1,495 transformation kit. This set consists of a dump body and hydro kit. After installing the hydrokit, changing between the wood chipper and dumper on the tracked undercarriage is very easy. With only one wrench and a lifting tool, you can convert the machine in 15 minutes.

Wood chipper parts are also available separately from GTM Professional. So if you are interested in this dumper, but might also use a wood chipper in the future, that is possible. So unlike buying a separate dumper and wood chipper, this interchangeable system will save you on your budget, storage space and machine maintenance.
