Husqvarna presents AWD cordless robotic mower

Husqvarna, the world market leader in robotic mowers, introduces its latest topper in lawn care, the Automower 535 AWD EPOS. This cordless robotic mower is the successor to the Automower 535 AWD and introduces a lot of advanced technology to the commercial lawn care segment. It especially excels at mowing hilly golf courses and other large-scale facilities. 

Designed for rough, hilly and undulating terrain, the Automower 535 AWD EPOS features all-wheel drive (AWD) for unmatched performance on the most demanding surfaces. Because it can handle slopes up to 70%, the robotic mower is perfect for mowing the rough edges and uneven surfaces on golf courses, where precision and durability take precedence. Rough terrain or complex areas near bunkers or other facilities on the golf course are no problem for this robotic mower, which is made to deliver perfect mowing performance even in hard-to-reach areas. 

One of the major upgrades to the mower is wireless operation using Exact Positioning Operating System (EPOS) technology, which provides flexible installation options. Being able to program wireless mowing zones makes it easy to adapt the mowing process to the specific needs of golf courses, including rougher surrounding areas. For those who prefer traditional installation, it is still possible to use boundary wires. 

Designed to mow up to 6,000 square meters in 48 hours, the Automower 535 AWD EPOS is highly efficient for maintaining extensive areas. This makes it the ideal solution for maintaining golf courses, where the rugged surrounding areas require special attention to ensure that the course remains in top condition for players and visitors. Starting in the second quarter of 2025, pattern mowing will be available as a software update, installable online. 

The Automower 535 AWD EPOS will be launched on the European market by the end of February 2025.
