With 55 years of experience in hand and motorized tools for the green space professional, De Wild introduces a new dumper: the GTRD500. As a result of its close contact with its end users, the family-owned company developed this dumper with an interchangeable tracked chassis. "As a result, you can easily convert the 1300R and 1800R wood chippers into dumper trucks and vice versa. The big advantage for the customer is of course the substantial cost savings of this modular system," explained marketing manager Diana de Keijzer.
The new multi-purpose dumper has a 500-pound payload and is available with a Loncin or Honda engine. The tracked chassis is similar to GTM Professional's 1300R and 1800R wood chippers. That means this self-propelled machine moves at a maximum speed of 4.5 mph, with three forward gears and one reverse. The eighteen-centimeter-wide tracks are ideal for swampy or rough terrain.
De Wild is also taking into account green professionals who already own a GTM tracked wood chipper. To convert it into a dumper, a special transformation kit is available, consisting of a tipping bucket and hydro kit. After installation, one can switch between the wood chipper and dumper with a single wrench and lifting tool. In addition, the parts of the chipper are available separately. Ideal for those who are interested in this dumper, but may also use a wood chipper in the future. Thus, this interchangeable system saves on budget, storage space and machine maintenance.
For branches from five to fourteen inches in diameter, GTM Professional has several wood chippers available. Each chipper is equipped with an efficient rotor-shredding system that automatically pulls branches in and effortlessly processes them into nice usable wood chips. "In addition, they are compactly built so that an alley or garden gate is not an obstacle. AND they take up little space on the trailer or in storage. Moreover, we designed the manually movable chippers in such a way that they can be transported by car. This requires the user to loosen a maximum of eight bolts."
It is characteristic of GTM Professional's thoughtful designs. For example, two so-called PRO blades are mounted on the rotor. With a special metal alloy and sharpening, these last extra long. Moreover, the blades have two cutting edges and are reversible, so you only need to sharpen or replace them when both sides are worn out. The trapezoid-shaped blades are also extra thick, so the bolts are recessed deep into the blade.
The 1300R and 1800R are not only used for garden and park maintenance, but also in forestry where the robust tracked undercarriage comes in handy. "GTM Professional's low and rigid undercarriage can handle steep slopes of up to 20° with ease. Steering is easy via the handles, both on these two wood chippers and the new tracked dumper."
"We take not only longevity but also safety extremely seriously. At our R&D department, all machines are extensively tested for safety and ease of use. This means that they are independently inspected and meet the highest European safety standards. In addition, we also have the machines evaluated by the users themselves to meet all requirements."
In addition to manufacturing and distributing GTM Professional machines, De Wild is also the exclusive European importer of Silky and Okatsune, two renowned brands of hand pruning tools.
With a large inventory and extensive dealer network, De Wild ensures that users are always nearby for expert advice, maintenance, purchase of machines and parts.
