With a height of only 47 cm and a cutting deck of 110cm. The e-ZERO is Spider's answer to the increasing demand for electric machines, with minimal height. And they succeeded: at only 47cm, the e-ZERO is the lowest machine currently on the market. This makes the machine very deployable in solar parks. But its extremely low center of gravity also makes it very stable on slopes.
The family business Spider Slope Mower is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year and has been represented in the Netherlands for more than 10 years by Vector Machines BV (previously Machines4Green).
This experience is reflected in the machine, and as a specialist in radio and autonomous mowing, Vector knows all the ins and outs.
As in all of Spider's other machines, lightweight aluminum has been used; the machine weighs only 195 kg. This combined with a modern battery pack allows the machine to mow for 5-8 hours depending on the vegetation.
Another important factor in this is the drive system. The SPIDER e-ZERO is driven by the rear axle, which results in significant energy savings. The machine is forced steered by front caster wheels (zero-turn principle) and variable drive on the rear wheels. Multiple mower decks, including a cutterbar are in preparation.
The result is exceptionally high productivity per charge.
