Versatile machines with many attachments

Ahlmann Netherlands, importer of Ahlmann swing loaders and Mecalac multipurpose excavators, is showing several models at the GroenTechniek Holland and AgroTechniek Holland trade shows in Biddinghuizen.

"We are in the middle section of the fair because the machines are applicable for visitors to both GTH and ATH," says Jonieke van den Oord, who belongs to the third generation active in the family business. "We have an innovative product range with which we serve an extensive customer base. We therefore supply many different sectors; including infra, water boards and municipalities, farmers, landscapers and tree care. The machines are fundamentally versatile and the wide range of attachments help to make this possible." 

Several models from Ahlmann and Mecalac will be on display at the fair. The machines will be shown with different attachments. The Mecalac mobile excavator 7MWR is the smallest model in the MWR series, known for having the qualities of both an excavator and wheel loader. This allows you to dig, load and shovel with the same machine, both close to the machine and far away. The very stable machine has a low step-in and the engine compartment and fuel tank are accessible from the ground for ease of use. The unique 3-piece Mecalac boom combines the qualities of an excavator and wheel loader, making it possible to dig, load and shovel both close to the machine and far away.  

The Mecalac 8MCR GreenJob is an Ahlmann-equipped Mecalac 8MCR crawler excavator, making it usable as a roadside/ ditch mower. For this purpose, a shepherd boom was placed on it, the machine's capacities were increased and it received a wider track undercarriage. Jonieke: "This machine has an even weight distribution over the entire range and runs lightly over land with a large front sprocket. The hydraulics are separated with multiple pumps, not only from mowing but the entire working and driving hydraulics, a total of 6 pumps. The mower basket extends up against the tracks and the machine is very compact, taking up no more than one half of the road. The operator has a good view of the work and for transport, the 8MCR can be equipped with a Pickup2Go transport system." The machine is multifunctional and also comes in handy outside the mowing season. With this wet spring, our customers have still had use for the machine every day, from earthwork to tree lifting" outside the mowing season to be used in the green sector, contract work or in the GWW.

Of course, Ahlmann Netherlands is also bringing wheel loaders to the fair. The Ahlmann swing loaders the company is known for, this time an AS850 and an MCL6 compact articulated loader. 

The MCL series is the latest addition to the product range and, like the rest of the Mecalac program, are multifunctional, compact and powerful. 

Finally, the Ahlmann AS850 swing loader features a 180-degree swing system, with the boom rotating left and right with the same force over the entire range. The swing loader is four-wheel steered and driven, and it allows the operator to load, drive, steer and swing simultaneously without restrictions. This enables work in very tight spaces.

Van den Oord has high hopes for the fair. "Two years ago we were also in the middle section and that went well, so we are happy to participate again. It gives us the opportunity to talk to a lot of people, both existing and new customers."
