All about growing site design, soil improvement and tree care

GreenMax Group is exhibiting with its sister company TreeBuilders and their brand GreenGuard at GaLaBau this year. A team will travel to Germany to inform visitors about the solutions they can offer for various issues. For example, they provide customers with unique systems for root guidance and growing site constructions, but also supply natural agents for soil improvement. Robin Driessen, Supervisor Inside Sales at GreenMax, is looking forward to this event: "It is one of the most important European trade fairs and here we can meet our customers and partners. After all, we are used far beyond the national border for the application of our products."

GreenMax Group has several options for growing trees into large, healthy, mature and functional trees. Take the TreeParker system. This is the only tree bunker system in Europe that is adaptable on site. This tree planting system creates the most ideal conditions for trees to thrive in paved environments. The design flexibility and variable system height proved ideal, for example, on Mediaplein in Antwerp, where a dozen trees needed to be placed above an underground garage. "We developed a new mock-up of this system, which we are taking to GaLaBau. It shows visitors very well how the system works and how it gives trees in public spaces more rootable volume."

GreenMax Group also provides beautiful root proofing and guidance solutions for both new and existing trees. At the booth, the team will demonstrate its RootBlock root protection wall and RootControl root protection root cloth, among others. But also the unique Tree Root Guide (TRG) system. This system was designed by GreenMax to prevent pavement encroachment (root encroachment) and damage to underground cables and pipes. TRG consists of special walls with guide ribs. These ensure that roots are guided perpendicularly downwards, deep into the ground. As soon as they reach the bottom of the wall, they can continue to grow horizontally and anchor the tree in place, without causing damage to the pavement or pipeline system.

GreenMax's solutions are manufactured with their own production process. They are made from recycled materials that can also be recycled many times again.

The GreenGuard label consists of natural products for soil improvement, plant enhancement, tree care, lawn optimization and pest control. Consider, for example, CoSoil for a weed-free tree bed. This residual product from the flax industry forms a natural cover layer on the soil, preventing weeds from growing. Another example is Vermicompost, an environmentally friendly alternative to fertilizer that green professionals are raving about. On the one hand because of its surprisingly positive effects on plant growth, on the other because of the savings in labor hours. In fact, it only needs to be applied once a year and, in the case of lawns, the number of mowings can be drastically reduced.
